Physician Assisted Suicide: The Right to Life

Receive His Gift

With Christmas quickly approaching, I thought it'd be a good time for this blog post. If you have a dad, a brother, or any man in your life like the ones I know, then you can probably relate to this scenario: You ask him what he wants for Christmas.  His reply is the same as all the other years, "Don't get me anything." But being the wonderful person that you are, you get him something anyway.  You sit and watch anxiously as he opens his gift, waiting for the pure joy to flood his face when he sees the shirt, shoes, or whatever it may be that you picked out especially for him. The suspense builds up and then...he lets out an unconvincing, "Thanks, its nice." After a few weeks have passed and there has been no sighting of the gift, you ask why he hasn't worn/used it yet.  And here it comes, the answer you get every year, tailored to the gift, of course. "It's too small, it doesn't match anything, I don't have room for it, etc...

BYUI: Squirrels and Lizards and Camels, OH MY.

Oh hey, a new blog!  So I haven't posted anything in a looooong time, mostly because nothing super exciting has happened.  But I can probably scrounge up enough stuff now for a semi-entertaining blog.   At the end of October I got a (very) temporary job at a research company up the road.  It was actually a pretty easy-going and enjoyable job.  I talked to some really interesting people on the phone, also some real grouches! This past Saturday was my last day there because I have finals the next two weeks and then I'll be done with my first semester of college! I can't believe it! Let's see, what else have I been up to since I last posted... Well, I met a curious little squirrel on the sidewalk. It snowed. A few weekends ago I invited a bunch of friends over and we ordered pizza, watched movies, and then played in the snow! It was a lot of fun! I though I would be cute and take a picture throwing snow in the air...It turned in...
