BYUI: Squirrels and Lizards and Camels, OH MY.
Oh hey, a new blog!
So I haven't posted anything in a looooong time, mostly because nothing super exciting has happened. But I can probably scrounge up enough stuff now for a semi-entertaining blog.
At the end of October I got a (very) temporary job at a research company up the road. It was actually a pretty easy-going and enjoyable job. I talked to some really interesting people on the phone, also some real grouches! This past Saturday was my last day there because I have finals the next two weeks and then I'll be done with my first semester of college! I can't believe it!
Let's see, what else have I been up to since I last posted...
Well, I met a curious little squirrel on the sidewalk.
It snowed.
A few weekends ago I invited a bunch of friends over and we ordered pizza, watched movies, and then played in the snow! It was a lot of fun! I though I would be cute and take a picture throwing snow in the air...It turned into a good opportunity for an "expectation vs reality" photo.

We also played this game called "Funny Bones" which is a hilarious card game. If you've never played, you should. Basically you split into teams and take turns drawing cards which have instructions on them. Some may say "elbow bone to ear bone," "shin bone to knee bone," or the most awkward, "nose bone to nose bone." You end up in some pretty awkward situations, my team, for example.
For Thanksgiving my mom flew into SLC, I picked her up, and we went down to Blanding to spend thanksgiving with the family. We had such a good time seeing everyone and I was so sad when we had to leave and I had to drop my mom off at the airport.
Seeing my mom for the first time in almost 3 months! |
I learned that my grandpa really likes lizards.
A camel stuck its tongue in my mouth.
And my baby cousin Blake is pretty much the cutest thing ever.
Oh, and yesterday I bought some Grinch pajamas and then watched the Grinch while wearing them.
I cannot believe that my first semester here at BYUI is almost over but I can't wait to get home!
Hope you all have a wonderful week.
XOXO, ANNA.
Anna, thanks for sharing all of your adventures and exciting time at school with us. We are excited to see you soon....Love, Uncle Jason, Aunt Stella, Lucian and Eavan
